Firmware protection

I bought a dTPM from AsRock to enable Firmware protection but in the Event Viewer it still says:"System Guard enabled but not supported. Reason: The required platform module was not found." Is it maybe only for Laptops that are prebuilt - that also have the Secured Core PC section in the Windows Defender? Would be very sad i bought a dTPM and switched from fTPM 😞
