I'm seeing some odd behavior with the servicing stack update included with the monthly cumluative updates on a few of our Windows 10 v20H2 machines and was curious if anyone else has encountered it.
We manage our updates via MECM and the impacted machines report back as compliant but it does not update the reported OS build version.
I connected remotely to a few of the machines and ran DISM /get-packages and see that the servicing stack update and the cumulative update still show as "install pending" days after the update was installed. The machines have been rebooted a few times afterwards.
If I look at the installed updates, they are displayed but they appear to not really be applied.
I have tried to work with Microsoft but they have been less than helpful.
Any ideas?
