MSIX enables enterprises to simplify app deployment and eliminate PC rot. In this one-day workshop, we will cover the basics of MSIX, then dive deeper into the technology, in addition to interactive Q&A/feedback for the MSIX product team.
In the workshop, we will talk through the value proposition of MSIX, explore the packaging format and construct of an MSIX. Additionally, we’ll cover how the deployment stack works for initial app installation, as well as updates and the benefits it brings to the enterprise. We will touch on the varying methods of deployment and explore new features like modification packages and how in the long-term, they can reduce your repackaging needs...but what good would a workshop from the product team be if we also didn’t cover some of the things to come!
Requirement: Remember to bring your Hyper-V enabled laptop as the second half of the workshop includes a series of hands-on labs that will let you get familiar with MSIX.
