Windows Security wont open

Windows 11 security is practically unusable at this point and creates a security risk. Once I go to settings to attempt to open windows security, I get prompted with "Get an app to open this 'windowsdefender' link". I have a fresh install of windows 11 100% updated and still having the same issue.
