Windows 11 to 7th generation Intel.

So, i have a Intel Core i5-7500 processor and, theoretically i would be able to use Windows 11. But Microsoft does not support it yet. Is there any chance that they will support this processor?

Hello

This list of processors has been confirmed by Microsoft as compatible with Windows11:

Intel Core i5-7640X Intel Core i7-7740X Intel Core i7-7800X Intel Core i7-7820HQ Intel Core i7-7820X Intel Core i7-7900X Intel Core i7-7920X Intel Core i9-7940X Intel Core i9-7960X Intel Core i9-7980XE

This new list here are only three 7th generation Intel processors that are compatible with Windows11

Try download and run the Windows Insider Preview PC Health Check Application (microsoft.com)

It will check your system and see if it is compatible with the Windows 11 or not.

In case, it is not compatible, you may create a new feedback in the Feedback Hub and request it to become available.

There is no guarantee, it will be available but this is a way to let the Windows team know about your concern.

Hello

Currently this app is only available to Insider Members.

True, you could join the Windows Insider but you don't have to install the insider build and you could sign in with your Microsoft Account to do that.

I would like to add that downloading any applications, which are not confirmed by Microsoft, and which are supposed to check if your computer is compatible with Windows 11 - may cause system viruses and I think it should be emphasized!
There is no need to check anything by installing additional applications - in time
Windows Update service - will provide us with this information and confirm the status.

Microsoft announced Windows 11 is coming in October, but support for Android apps might be delayed until 2022 and come first as an Insider Preview

Yes , but this discussion is about - technical requirements that will prevent installation of Windows11 - despite Microsoft's release !
This affects millions of users who will not be able to install Windows11 updates and this is a big technical problem.

Yes it promises to be good - users will be able to verify it , but only on hardware - that will be compatible with Windows11!
True, any non-Microsoft team are unofficial and risky.
However, the link I shared earlier is the official Microsoft website and it is safe to download and test.
