Windows 10 Insider Preview 10.0.17713.1002 (rs5_release) update keeps failing

The Windows 10 Insider Preview 10.0.17713.1002 (rs5_release) update keeps failing, 9 times so far. The error code is 0xc1900101.

I'm currently on Build 17692.rs_prerelease_flt.180625-1624.

There are a bunch of lines with

6080  6148  Driver          *FAILED* [8024C002] LookUpDriverRecoveryID:2500

in the log when I run  Get-WindowsUpdateLog

Is there a way to find out what exactly is the culprit and how to fix it? The update takes more than 20 min in run, so it's pretty annoying to sit through it every day.

I have exact same problem!   Is really annoying sitting all day waiting and keep failing to update! ms support us!

You wouldn't want it to succeed! 10.0.17713.1002 (rs5_release) slows the PC down and then freezes completely...

Is there at least an option to "skip" or pause the update? It is so annoying that windows keeps downloading the update over and over again, and then runs the install cycles when I (accidentally) click the "update and shut down" button.
Unfortunately, none that I know of. You may defer installation for 7 days.

You could also try to delete directory C:\\$windows~BT, so that it is forced to re-download, but I do not know if it is of any use...

Also same issue. Would appreciate some insights if there are any out there!
