Windows 10 Bluetooth not Available on This Device

Copper Contributor

Shortly after upgrading Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Bluetooth became unavailable.

On 31 August 2023 the MS Support Agent reloaded a Windows 10 Image which successfully returned Bluetooth to my computer however, subsequently it again became unavailable.  Another day spent and 2,5 hours with a different MS Support Agent who didn't reload an Image but instead tried to resolve the issue seaching for drivers etc.  Regrettably the problem persists.  If there is anyone out there who is or has experienced the same problem and can offer advanced guidance to the resolve (besides acquiring a USB Bluetooth dongle) it would greatly appreciated, thank you!

@Reza_Ameri Thank you for your response.

I am well aware of the given support portal (, the assistance and guidance offered is regrettably not sufficient to address this complex matter.

Aligned to my post, advanced support is prerequisite, technical expertise beyond the norm.  Literally days of research and endeavour have gone into trying to sorted this out.  Unfortunately Windows 10 brings with it even further disparities such as hibernate / sleep functionality which simply don't work as they should.

Other problems include VBA macros developed in Excel 2013 and which now don't work as they should in Excel 2021.  Whilst the bulk of the challenges have been conquered some remain without comprehension as to how they may eventually be overcome.

If therefore there are any folks out there who have experienced similar issues with Windows 10 and Office 2021 and have been able to resolve them, that would be the kind of assistiance of most value, thank-you in anticipation!

Make sure report all these issues using the Feedback Hub app.
Have you check this with your device's manufacturer support too?
