Are you seeing any error message?
Does it happen in the new build?
Have you set your phone to act as file transfer mode?

make sure phone is set to file transfer mode not charge mode. Also try switching usb cable for phone

Try connecting it to a different device (just for test) and see if it works.
Have you tried connecting it to a different USB port?
