I cannot access task manager and many other Microsoft programs. I can only change some settings and Windows Security also cannot be changed settings. Windows Security still works in general though. I have tried to update my windows several times and it wasn't able to successfully update. I don't know why this is happening

I recommend to full scan your system with Windows Security. Check if there are any Group Policies applied to block apps.

Is this your personal computer or a work computer that is managed by an IT department?

Interesting. When you set it up, did you make yourself an administrator? Or did you set up two different accounts, one admin and one not?

Have you tried running each of the apps specifically as an admin? For example, click start, task manager, run as administrator (instead of just clicking "open").

Okay, then that is the issue. You'll need to track down your key or whatever you have to prove you purchased windows.
