Settings wont open in windows insider program

For some reason on the windows insider program, it does not let me open the windows update in my settings. I have tried a lot of different troubleshooting steps and it still does not work. Is there any way to troubleshoot this without having to re-install windows?

 Under privacy & security should be windows update but it is not there.

It says its still checking but there seems to be no update at all.

An in-place upgrade is a good idea, what kind of Windows build do you have now?

I'm in the dev channel and my build is 26085.ge_realese.240315-1352 according to the watermark I have

I think it will be all right, now the Canary and Dev. channels get the same build, this is temporary, in the near future the builds will be separated again.

All you have to do is wait 🙂

Another method to get the latest updates is to use Powershell. Here is a great Article with Instructions on how to use it.
