Currently no matter whether you fresh install Windows insider Dev or Beta channel, in Windows settings the default insider channel is set to "Beta" for all of them.
this needs to change to reflect the correct insider channel based on the ISO file used to fresh install Windows 10 insider build.
when everything defaults to "Beta" channel, problems arise. Windows update checks for updates automatically and installs wrong updates for the device. Windows updates and specially device drivers in Windows update are different for Beta and Dev channels.
