Second information missing in Windows 11 taskbar (Precision of Clock)

Copper Contributor

If I click on time on taskbar, it used to show calendar with a running clock (displaying information of seconds also) in windows 10 or earlier versions. In Windows 11, this clock is missing. I need second information in various occasions during the day and due to the missing feature, I have to take external help like physical clock / mobile etc. I am not interested in installing any other external widget / app in my laptop. Could there be any valid reason of removing such useful feature and downgrade? Thanks in advance.

I would like to "second" vote this with pun included!

99% of the day I don't want to see the seconds live in the task bar. Many people only want to see seconds when clicking the clock as this has become a force of habit from just old windows versions.
