Thanks. I am contemplating doing a reset. I will hold off for the next drop. What you described with it related to the Microsoft Store makes sense. I've been having a problem with the Microsoft Store too. Certain apps are not updating and when I uninstalled them, they would not reinstall.

@HappyrocksI don't think it is a chip problem. It installed fine on my other system which is running an 8th Gen Intel i7-8650U. My desktop, which is what I am having the problem with is running an 8th Gen Intel i7-8700.

@GeneBraave posted that he got it to install, but had significant issues afterwards and uninstall the upate. He traced it down as a Microsoft Store error. I started having a Microsoft Store issue recently too.

I'm going to give it another week or so (I'm in the Dev Channel) before I do a reset on my system. I need to get rid of some stuff I haven't been using anyway.

I am not going to worry and hold for a while till it is sorted out. Not going to do any funky system changes to try and force it. I can play with it on my backup machine in the meantime.

@VEDIKSAGA  I am having the same issue on my Dell Precision 5750 with an Intel Xeon W-10885M. It downloads, then installs, and on the reboot it fails. Not sure what to do. I take it there has not been any response from MS Tech. I'd love to figure this out.

Windows 11, version 22H2 Insider Preview 10.0.22581.200 (ni_release)

Failed on my system 6 times. I followed advice to unconect the most of usb devices. Also tried file checks like sfc. Same result: GSoD. Stopcode: APC_Index_Mismatch.

My previous Win11 is restored. Hope Microsoft can resolve this problem.

Thanks. I don't know how but the windows got updated. It still says that my windows license is about to expire.
My problem seems gone now, a smooth update from Build 22581.200 to Build 22593.1 (ni_release) guys....
Not mine. 22593.1 failed for me last night like previous versions

My Windows 11 Insider Preview 22593.1 failed yesterday also. Error: 0x8007000d

@paulgeanta

Try to install build 22581.1 ISO formatted first (not 22581.100) from here and how to

Coz this is the step I take after many failed attempt to update......

Thank you but I prefer not to download from 3-rd party websites
Hi HelRush,
Thanks for the tip. I tried this steps. On a point when the iso is created my Hitmanpro blocked the proces with a cryptoguard warning on Dism.
Found the problem with updating. HitmanPro-Alert disabled making a iso. I uninstalled this program and used the Windows solver for updating. Then I started the update of Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22593.1.0. This was succesfull for me.
22593.1 failed for me too. Same error as I have previously stated. I decided to reset my machine. After the reset, the update installed successfully. It also cleared up other issues I was having, such as Microsoft Store errors; in particular certain apps were not updating.

I decided the PITA of reinstalling my apps outweighed not getting updates. Besides, it allowed me to get rid of a bunch of bloat that had built up. I had several apps that I was not using or had not used in several months.
Ahh...OK, I understand, maybe just wait for the next build to give a try.
Glad to hear, finally you found the problem...
I just installed 22593.1 and it worked with a bit of a concern until I realised that settings was updating after the screen normalised, only way to know is when typing settings in the search tile, it says "settings updating", these days windows is getting less human friendly, as before it would blank out the screen with a small message of 'personalising updating.'
It is slow downloading which is probably why the error codes.
One thing for sure we are now at 22H2
thanks

an update
the update failed
the same issue straight to diagnosis with the only alternative to removing the update.

@GeneBraave

I ended up resetting my system. I was having numerous issues; in particular, Microsoft Store, Windows Subsystem for Android, AND Windows updates. After resetting I have no more issues.

Sure, it was a PITA to reinstall a bunch of apps, but ultimately, I had a crap ton of stuff I wasn't using, so it allowed me to get rid of a bunch of bloat.
