How to remove this media player menu?

check the settings at the bottom of the image,

  1. Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
  2. Click on System.
  3. Click on Sound.
  4. Scroll down to the Media Player section.
  5. Toggle off the Media Player switch.This will disable the media player menu and remove it from the Settings app.

Maybe you can check the settings of the player.

If you don't need Media Player anymore, you can uninstall it from your Windows system. Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Media Player, and click the "Uninstall" button.

I've had this same issue, none of the suggestions worked. I ended up just downloading VLC for the series x and it works perfectly without any of these issues.
