How to enable secureboot without going into BIOS?

Copper Contributor

I have everything checked for Window 11, but I am not able to enable secureboot, my BIOS does not have that option to enable secureboot. Is there another way to enable secureboot without going through BIOS?

What brand and model device you have?
I have an Acer.
No. You're going to have to go into your computers bios. Most manufacturers this day and age would have had that enabled by default. Whats the exact model? The manufacturers website would tell you whether or not your laptop supports UEFI SecureBoot

Hello @AN1125690,

AFAIK, you can enable secure boot in BIOS setup only, as I haven't seen this setting controlled by OS. If your system is equipped with secure boot feature, there must be a setting in the BIOS to control it. For better assistance, you can also contact your device manufacturer to confirm, if your system model has secure boot.

Regards.
