Gemma.sys Causes Green Screen of Death (GSOD)

Copper Contributor

Has anyone encountered a similar problem while using Windows Insider Edition?

I have attempted various methods to resolve it without success, including reinstalling Windows Repair 23H2, yet the issue persists.

Moreover, no logs are generated as the system freezes at 0%.

If your system can create memory dumps, check if any can be analyzed. While GSODs may not generate logs, if you can get a crash dump file, it may provide insights into what specifically is causing the issues.
If you suspect a particular feature or application tied to the gemma.sys file (like virtualization features), try disabling them through BIOS settings or within Windows to see if it alleviates the problem.
