Fingerprint Reader Won't Work

My fingerprint sensor wasn't working to sign into my laptop so I removed it and tried setting it up again but every time I try and add my fingerprint it says I can't add the same one but it won't let me activate it again. I have tried removing and reinstalling the drivers but that doesn't work. Its lets me add other fingers that i havent used before but they ones that i used before it stopped working it wont let me add those again.

Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates.
Where are you downloading the driver?
Are you downloading driver from Windows Update or device's manufacturer website?

i have installed all windows updates and all drivers are installed. i download the drivers from dells website because i have a dell laptop. i have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. @Reza_Ameri 

Try uninstall the driver and then run Windows Update to see if it is being offered in the Windows Update?
Make sure report this issue using the Feedback Hub app.
Also try contact the Dell's support.
I just tried that and it didn't work. I uninstalled it rebooted then did the windows update and rebooted and it did install it but its still saying the same thing.
Try removing the PIN first, then re-setup PIN, followed by fingerprint setup. See if it helps.
Check with the Dell's support.
Already did they couldn't figure it out.

Try performing Clean Boot and see if the problem persists?

Try enable services related to fingerprint and disable others.
