I'm having the same issue with the install.  It gets to 100% installing then fails.

I have the same issue. The box installed a few other updates without any problems. Additionally, I noticed that I have conflict naming issues with .Net Framework 4.8 vs windows features, Folder in Windows\Microsoft.Net and Regedit Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\CDF\v4.0 and Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup. I am wondering .Net Framework 4.8.xxx is causing this issue because I have tried many attempts and tools and trouble shooting and comparing the logs.

Also having install issues with the Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.26120.1542) (KB5041872). 🙃

The update is taking forever to download & install, then returns to 'Download & Install', no error code is given. Plus, it's high CPU consumption means I can not do much with the update running in the background. 🤯

Since the 28th August (today is 9/9/24), I've been hoping the update would push through.

Does anyone have a work around please? Appreciated. 🙏

Same here, download stalls at 8% and whole system freeze. I had to enable one week update hold to avoid freezes.

The same 8% here, the same frozen PC here. I thought my laptop had virus.
