Prior to a recent update, the Copilot for Windows button was located on the Taskbar, to the right of the Start button. Post update, this button moved to the System Tray (far right corner of the Taskbar). Today, after multiple reboots and joining the machine to Entra ID, the Copilot button moved back to its original location on the Taskbar - just to the right of the Start menu.
I have an identical machine (Win 11 Ent 23H2; OS build 22631.3235; WFP 1000.22687.1000.0), with the same user account on it (one is a laptop and the other is a desktop), with the same set of updates on it (feature, quality and other) and there are no applied Intune policies that move the Copilot icon. Edge on both is 122.0.2365.66.
Any idea what is going on and what controls this behaviour?

@Fafeyng Okay, I found out that its location in an official blog post dated 20/05/24 is the same as we call it out as a bug. Probably Microsoft will "revert" it back to between those default icons with the newest copilot+pc stuff. So we might have gotten just a "pre-adjustment".

@Fafeyng Okay, it went to far right, "where it should be" after I installed the Office 365. FYI

Nevermind, it went back again to position given in the OP's screenshot itself, without any updates/installations. I have no clue anymore...
I will just update to 24h2 asap and forget about it.
