Build expires

Copper Contributor

Dear all,

I hope you can help me with the Build program issue. I am working on a Imac (m1)-parallels device. I have no idea why this program is expiring. Is registration the solution? Could somebody help me?

Thank you Andrzej, is this even possible on a m1 chip Imac?
I think it's possible, but I only work on Windows, so I have no experience with Imac.,
Dear Andrzej,
This is the software which has been downloaden in juli and now seems to expires. Would you still recommand to deleted the current software and download it again?
No
If there is no newer version, do not download.
But Clean Install is recommended because it removes the expiring version.
Then it deletes all personal files formats the disk and reinstalls Windows already without the Insider program - again you need to register the computer

Edition   Windows 10 Pro

Version Dev

Installed on ‎27-‎7-‎2021

OS build 21354.1

Experience Windows 10 Feature Experience Pack 321.7601.0.3

It seems to be the latest version. Would it make a difference to contact the parallels support desk?

This is the old version.

The newer one is: 21390, but it also expires. - This is, as far as I know, the last version of Dev. Windows10.

Thank you so much for the help. Im trying to understand as much as possible but It seems hard for me due to no technical background. So If I understand it right I need to clean the installation of windows 10..

Yes.
But the drive will be formatted and personal files deleted - be sure to save copies of your files to an external drive.

I have tried the Parallels forum aswell for any help I could get.

There has seems to be a new update, where a TPM is needed (no idea what this is)

Parallels Desktop for Mac computers with the Apple M1 chip

This update for Parallels Desktop 16 for Mac 16.5.2 (50703) addresses overall stability and security issues, and includes the following improvements:

To continue using and updating Windows on Mac computers equipped with the Apple M1 chip, we supported adding a virtual TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip to the virtual machine configuration. You need to add TPM to existing Windows virtual machines manually.

A virtual TPM chip is now added to new Windows virtual machines automatically.

Yes, but this applies to the virtual machine, not the system on your hard disk
Computer.
I havent solved it yet. The upcoming week I will spend more time to fix this.
I updated the parallels to 17- downloaded and installed https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewARM64

Which seems to work. But Im having TPM and internet issues. Could probably be the Hyper-V enabled (instructions)...
