Introduced in the release of Windows Vista, the Device.DevFund.Reliability.X64Support requirement was required of all drivers (with some noted exceptions) to ensure a smooth adoption of x64 for Windows. With the successful adoption of x64, this requirement no longer needs to be enforced through the Windows Hardware Certification Program. The validation for this requirement that was done upon submission to Sysdev has now been removed.
