Identify a custom image

Iron Contributor

Is there any way I can identify deployments of Windows 10 on my network. I am using a custom image built with MDT but would like to build a new updated one now and be able to query my environment via either SCCM or Powershell to find out which computers are using the custom deployment.

When I started imaging I ended up tracking this via the computer description about the build as well adding a piece in the registry/WMI Based on @michael_Nystroms Deployment Bunny - https://deploymentbunny.com/2016/12/02/osd-add-information-to-the-computer-during-osd-using-a-custom...

For sure you will be able to related it back to build date but as to the custom wim you had, unless you took steps to id it, you may find that to be more difficult.  Sccm may reference the Task Sequence you used to deploy it and from that you may be able to deduce the WIM.  Review the DeploymentBunny and that should point you in the right direction as to some of the things you can look for.

Thanks, will give this a look over.
