Domain Authentication for Windows (Private) Store

Copper Contributor

We are looking at using the (Private) Store for Education in a domain environment. We can make only the private store available via group policy, but opening the Store prompts for a login even when logged into the computer using domain credentials.

Is it possible to have the Store use the current domain credentials when it is opened?

Thank you.

The private store using Azure Active Directory accounts.  Typically if your accounts are synced between AD and AAD, it should be possible to do this without logging in again, although you may need to select the account you want to use (e.g. AAD instead of MSA).

I believe our AD and AAD accounts are synced properly, but it still prompts for a login. Is there a specific setting or mechanism that has to be established for this to take? Or a way to troubleshoot/view logs?

Thank you.
