What do the security tools like Sentinel, etc. use for uniquely identifying host entities? Are non-domain Windows instances in Azure processed with Sysprep to generate unique SIDs? KMS does not use the SID to identify machines. KMS uses a HWID to identify unique machines based on the hardware in those machines

What about KMS? How are machines uniquely identified to increase the KMS activation count if all the SIDs are the same?
