Windows Admin Center: Remote Desktop Local Region Support

I'm a based in the UK and am running WAC 2009 locally on my Windows 10 (20H) machine. 

I have configured the region in  WAC to English (UK) but when I RDP on to Windows servers (2012 - 2019) the key board region defaults to US. The time and other region settings aren't affected. 

Is this a known issue or have I mis configured something? 

Any help would be appreciated.

Update; the region is passing through but not respecting some keys. For example # is output at '.
