VMConnect Loading Infinitely

Copper Contributor

Greetings,

I am having a problem with the latest build of Windows Admin Center Version 2211. To preface this I have a local computer (Windows 11 Pro) with Hyper-V installed along side the Admin Center which is also installed on the local computer. I can view and manage anything else with the virtual machines. I can create virtual machines, view folders on my local computer, etc.

My problem is that when I try to use VMConnect through the web browser to connect to the VMs it loads indefinitely. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi @VaultBoy5000,

The issue you're facing seems to be related to VMConnect's compatibility with the browser-based interface of Windows Admin Center. Here are several troubleshooting steps you can take to rectify the issue:

First of all, please ensure that your Windows Admin Center (https://aka.ms/wacdownload), Hyper-V, and VMConnect settings are correctly configured and up-to-date. Try using different web browsers or Incognito/Private mode to rule out browser-specific issues and check if there are any network settings or firewall rules blocking the connection. If the issue persists, refer to the Application logs in Windows Event Viewer for any potential errors and consider using PowerShell's Enter-PSSession cmdlet as a workaround.

Hope this helps!
