File Server and Storage Replica

Copper Contributor

Is it possible to create a File Server cluster, where nodes use internal disks replicated with Storage Replica? There are some docs on Microsoft.com describing cluster to cluster replica, but cannot find answer if it is possible to fileover to remote site and change replica direction automaticly. Does failover cluster can manage Storage Replica?

The solution should be a replacement for DFSR. Nodes cannot share the same storage since are in separate sites.

I created cluster-to-cluster replication. There are two file server clusters. How to prepere a global access method to users? NLB based on DNS?
