File Sharing Options in Windows 365

We have a small requirement for 4-6 Windows 365 Business machines - the business in question works on complex linked Excel documents on an on-prem file server at the moment with mapped drives.

It's not clear to me what file-sharing options exist in W365 outside of SharePoint, Teams and Onedrive all three of which wouldn't suit their Excel file storage requirements.

Would Azure Files be an option or anyone doing anything else for more traditional file server type requirements with Windows 365?

You can use the on-premises file server only in the enterprise version of Windows 365 as this can be possible when your enterprise VM is integrated with Azure VNET and the Azure VNET does have some connectivity like express route or site to VPN with the on-premises network.
Using file server is rather classic, it is recommend to use either OneDrive or Sharepoint for the advanced file sharing, versioning and collaboration reasons.
