Cloud PC - Azure Network Connection Failure Error

While attempting to domain join, "domain.local" cannot be found. Make sure that the domain controller for the domain.local can be contacted by the vNET defined in this Azure network connection.

We have the correct domain join account that is added to the OU that is supposed to be there in order to join the computer to the domain. Is there some other issue going on? The network engineer says that it is pinging the domain controller from this vNET. So, what else could be wrong?

Make sure DNS is working properly! The proper DNS servers are mentioned on the vNET. See if you can query the domain controllers on all the necessary AD ports. (389, 636 etc.)
