Windows 11 New Task Manager contrast problem

I have Windows 11 in dark mode (to get a dark taskbar) and Windows apps in light mode. Following the recent optional cumulative update, the new Task Manager is showing with black menu items on a dark grey background, which is virtually illegible to me. Surely Task Manager is an app and should therefore be in light mode? Everything else in Windows 11 shows in light mode.

And today the "Task Manager" heading is in black on nearly black to tie in with the left-hand menu items! Apparently Microsoft is working on the issue.....  @Eticcbb
