Windows 11 file context menu share option for OneDrive <= can I get the "other" share options?

I would like to use the share option in the windows 11 file explorer context menu (right click) to attach a file to an email message using the MS Mail client. This is easily accomplished for local files. However, in a OneDrive folder, the share functions convert to a "cloud" share option (send link / copy link), without offering the ability to simply attach the file in the traditional manner.

Unfortunately, when using the OneDrive personal folder backup options, all those files (e.g., Documents, Desktop, etc.) are treated as "cloud" folders for purposes of sharing via the file context menu.

In a OneDrive folder, is there a way to short-circuit the OneDrive sharing options so that I can attach the files in a traditional manner (vs. link sharing, which I do not want to use)?
