Why is My QuickBooks multi user mode not working after Windows updates?

I'm experiencing issues with QuickBooks multi-user mode not working. The program won't switch to multi-user mode, and I'm unable to access the company file from other computers on the network. I've checked that all users have the correct permissions and that the network is functioning properly. What are the troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue?

If QuickBooks multi-user mode isn't working, check your network setup, ensure the QuickBooks Database Server Manager is running, and verify folder permissions. Ensure all users have the same version of QuickBooks. Restart the server and workstations if needed.
