What to do when QuickBooks Database Server Manager stopped functioning?

Copper Contributor

I'm facing an issue where QuickBooks Database Server Manager stopped. As a result, I'm unable to access my company files over the network. How can I fix this problem?

The QuickBooks Database Server Manager Stopped issue may occur due to various reasons such as network issues, corrupted files, or incompatible software. To troubleshoot, start by restarting the QB Database Server Manager service and ensuring it's set to automatic startup. Check your network settings and firewall to ensure QB is allowed access. Update QB to the latest version and run the QB File Doctor tool to scan and repair any file-related issues. If the problem persists, consider reinstalling QB Database Server Manager or seeking assistance from QB support. Additionally, ensure your system meets QB minimum requirements for smooth operation.
