For a project, I have to connect to a raspberry pi via putty to write and run code. This worked for months, but now since yesterday, when connecting (USB c to USB c) the USB serial device doesn't show up under the COM ports in the device manager. It did work with the same raspberry pi and the same cable on another computer.
Under hidden devices, it showed an error code 45. I was told that after uninstalling it and restarting my computer, it would be reinstalled by itself. It still didn't work and now the ports (COM&LPT) don't even, show up under hidden devices.
What can I do?
