Touchpad not showing in device manager after update from 20H2 to 21H1?

Copper Contributor

It worked when I rolled back to 20H2 but now I am using windows 11 and have reset the laptop once and thus cannot go back to previous windows versions. The touchpad is not showing in the device manager, is there a fix for this?

It seems challenging as I have lost the possibility to roll back to 20H2, but still if there is a fix, please let me know it would be much appreciated.

Try visit your device's manufacturer website and download and install the latest driver for the Touchpad and see if the problem persist?
Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
Try contact your device's manufacturer support and check with them.
Hi @Reza_Ameri
The manufacturer's website doesn't provide a driver for touchpad.
Have reported the problem on feedback hub.
The device manufacturer's support was the worst thing to happen. They made me reset my laptop which in turn lost my ability to roll back to the previous version of windows and also didn't fix the issue.
