Theme won't stick when using multiple desktops
Is there any solution for desktop backgrounds constantly changing (by themselves) when switching between virtual desktops? This has been ongoing for a year now, and Win11 seems unable to remember and store my wallpaper preferences.
One thing you can try is to reset the settings for your desktop backgrounds. Here's how:
- Right-click on the desktop and select "Personalize" from the context menu.
- In the Personalization settings, click on "Background" in the left sidebar.
- Under "Choose your picture," select a different background image.
- Then, revert back to your preferred background image.
- Click on "Choose a fit" and ensure it's set to "Fill," "Fit," or your preferred option.
- Close the Personalization settings.
- Ensure that your Windows 11 operating system is up to date. Microsoft often releases updates that address bugs and issues, including problems with desktop customization.
- This can't be a serious response. Windows updates automatically, so the idea of "ensure you have the latest updates" is about 20 years out of date - back when I had to dial in.
- I have the exact same issue even when my system is up to date.
- Closing Second or Third Desktop will cause Theme to revert. Read Here...
