I have a Dell Inspiron 16 7620 2in1 and after a Windows 11 update a couple of weeks ago my headphones would not work when plugged into the laptop. The setting showed the correct icon when they were plugged in however the sound would come through the laptop speakers. There was no change to the setting that I could make that mad any difference. So I went and restored my system back to where it was prior to the update and at the same time sent a msg thru to Microsoft concerning the issue. I rec’d notification of a new update a week ago that a new Windows update was available so today I updated….. and yep you guessed it, the same thing happened. So I have once again reset my system back to where it was prior to the update and I am now on this forum to see whether anyone else has had the same or similar issue and what if anything fixed it.
