Numerous Items Unexpectedly Malfunctioning
I am currently utilizing a Lenovo laptop that offers a versatile design, transforming from a traditional laptop mode to a convenient tablet mode with a touchscreen feature. Although I am unable to pinpoint the exact model due to Windows concealing such details, it closely resembles the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 | 14-inch Intel® Evo™ laptop. My operating system is Windows version 22h2, with OS Build 2261.2506.
The primary functionalities of my device include seamless transition between keyboard and tablet modes, in addition to touchscreen capabilities. While it also features the TrackPoint pointer, I must clarify that the issues I am facing are software-related, as all hardware components function properly in other scenarios. For instance, the touchscreen may not be responsive on the desktop, but within the Windows Settings window, it works flawlessly, enabling scrolling.
I prefer utilizing the "Automatically Hide the Taskbar" option for maximizing desktop space and choose not to enable "Optimize taskbar for touch interactions when this device is a tablet." The recent challenges began with an unexpected OneDrive login prompt, which led to authentication issues and unsuccessful attempts to submit Feedback Reports, resulting in extended loading times. Following a system restart and Windows Update installation, various malfunctions surfaced gradually.
Presently, certain prominent issues persist within my system:
1. Quick Access disappearance from File Explorer, with inaccurate resolution methods found online.
2. Touchscreen malfunction in initiating the Start Menu; only accessible via the mouse cursor.
3. Ineffective response when attempting to launch the Start Menu from the "four square" icon.
4. Failure of the Window key to activate the Taskbar and Start Menu, contrasting with Window-E for File Explorer.
5. Limited touch screen functionality on the desktop, barring Start Menu access.
6. Prolonged login durations and inconsistencies with OneDrive directory visibility and functionality.
These anomalies significantly impede the usability of my system, especially the unresponsive Start Menu. I aim to document and share visual evidence of these issues for comprehensive review and resolution. Your guidance and support in rectifying these concerns would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

SamuelJohnson I would start off updating to Windows 11 23H2 version using windows update or in case you are unable to update from Windows settings, you could also do a manual update from the Windows 11 Download page.

Ensure your device drivers are up to date by referring your laptop manufacturer official drivers page once you have your Windows update complete.
Note: Please ensure you have your backup up to date.
