Nuisance popup not long after startup

Anyone know how to stop this?

Type "Task Scheduler" in the search bar and open the app. Search for the updasteschecker scheduel and disable.

1. Take note of the popup: What does it say? Which program is generating it? This can help in determining the next steps.

2. Check Startup Programs

Windows:
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
Navigate to the "Startup" tab.
Look for any unfamiliar programs and disable them.Run an Antivirus Scan

3. Use your antivirus software to perform a full system scan. Popups can be caused by malware or adware, so make sure your software is up to date.

1) find a more knowledgeable / better moderated group

2) look for rubbish in the user's browser profile notifications (exact method depends on species of junk ingester employed by said user)
