Laptop turns off when unplugged after upgrading to windows 11

Copper Contributor

Hi!

I have an ASUS Zenbook UX450FDX and recently upgraded to Windows 11. After upgrading, I'm facing issues with my laptop turning off instantly when unplugged. I have tried troubleshooting power, updating BIOS, uninstalling battery drivers, but nothing works.

Is it possible to revert the windows 11 upgrade, or does anyone have any tips on what to do?

Hi @carolinebar ,

You can go back to Windows 10 anytime by following steps:

  • Press Win + I to launch settings
  • Go to Recovery > Go Back

Same issue on Dell Precision 5500

You have up to 10 days to revert back to the Windows 10.
Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates.
Check this issue with your device's manufacturer support.
Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.

@carolinebarI have the same issue with my Asus Vivobook as well after upgrading my OS to Windows 11. :(

Make sure report this issue using the Feedback Hub app and also report it to the ASUS support.

@carolinebar it's now 2023 but I'm also, still, experiencing this issue :(

Were you able to resolve yours?
