Is there a way to limit or prevent open programs in the taskbar from spreading out in Windows 11?

Hello,

Out of habbit I go to specific spots in the taskbar to open applications without really looking.  With the  feature that spreads them out, it moves where the icons that are pinned to the taskbar end up.

I'd love to specify a maximum amount they expand or prevent them from expanding at all. 

Perhaps an option to have it automatically shift open items to the right.

Your taskbar looks different than default, are you using any third-party software to customize your taskbar?
