How do I get rid of Intuit Data Protect is Not Working in QuickBooks Desktop?

I've been experiencing issues with Intuit Data Protect not working properly. It fails to back up my data and sometimes doesn't start at all. I've tried restarting my computer and the application, but the problem persists. How can I troubleshoot and resolve this issue?
