Windows Updates Causing Issues with Adobe

For the last several months whenever I approve new WSUS updates, my client machines will not let Adobe Reader DC open until the PC is rebooted on e more time. I've tried a repair and also a reinstall, and then the same thing will happen again next month. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is happening on PC's with Windows 10 Versions 1909, 2004, and 20H2.
