Windows File Explorer has slowed to an unworkable pace since we installed Windows update Windows Update March 14, 2023—KB5023696 on our W10 21H2 pcs. We have tried the following;
The issue manifests itself when trying to find files for attaching to emails or searching the directory. The location of files is irrelevant, it is not network related.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

From the articles it is advisable to upgrade to Windows 11, as Windows 10 20H2 (Education, Enterprise and IoT Entreprise) will soon reach end of support in May 2023.
