Windows Event Forwarding - Workgroup Environment

Hi everyone,
Im looking for a solution for monitoring WORKGROUP stations using WEF.
I searched everywhere, i saw only guides for implementation in Domain Environment or with implementation where the source and the collector are not in the same domain, using certificates... But there is no guide for monitoring Workgroup stations.
Do you have any guide for that?... Your response will be highly appreciated appreciated.
