I'm purchasing a new computer and im installing windows myself, i have a laptop with an activated retail version of windows 10 pro, i installed a boot drive from the Windows 10 media creation tool and I'm wondering if i will have to purchase a key for windows, or if the boot drive will have windows activated, or when i log into my windows account it will activate. @Glitchy, As per Microsoft policy, you need to use a separate license for a new machine. That means you can't use same license on two different systems (either physical or virtual). So for your new machine, you need to get a new license.
