Windows 10 activation help

I have a product key, bought in 2017, i recently replaced some hardware (RAM, Motherboard) and want to re-activate Windows. how do i do this?

the product key registered windows since 2017, i replaced motherboard and now says windows needs to be activated,.

i have ran through the steps in settings > activation and keep getting caught in a loop. it keeps saying check help online but nothing is helping

what do i need to do to register my VALID windows 10 product key on my pc?

If your product key was an OEM license, it is usually tied to motherboard.

So when you change motherboard, you need the new product key in that case.

If you've retail product key, you can reactivate it easily with new hardware.
