Why my windows 10 user account in administrators group still fail to call CreateFile()

Hi All

     Why my windows 10 user account in administrators group still fail to call CreateFile(). I have to run dos prompt using administrator to make it success, why?

Solution

You can try enabling the disabled built-in Administrator account inside Windows 10, set a password for it and log in using those credentials.

 

once you enable that built-in Admin account, you can hold shift and right-click on any program and choose "run as different user"
