User can't login with correct credentials when domain is unreachable

Copper Contributor

I have my work computers attached to the company domain. The problem is that when I try to log in to a computer while outside the domain I can't because it says that the domain is not available. And I can't log in with the local user account either.

Any ideas on that?

Hi,
Have you contacted your administrator? maybe they have a group policy or registry setup recently that disables storing cached credentials locally.

@HotCakeX Hi!

The problem is that I'm the administrator and we don't have any policies that can cause it. I checked the "Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication" policies, but it is set on "not defined".

The strange part is that what is causing it is affecting also the local admin account.
