Unable to connect to VPN from Internet Option in Taskbar - Stucks on Connecting

Unable to connect to VPN from Internet Option in Taskbar. When we click on VPN name and click the Connect button, we are not getting the pop-up to put credentials. It just says Connecting...

The same works when we go to Settings ->Network & Internet -> VPN. We get the pop-up box for credentials and the VPN gets connected successfully.

It's just that the VPN connection shortcut from taskbar does not work.

This has stated after updating windows to 1903
